DEER LAKE PRECINCT
This multifaceted site of over 80 acres is in the centre of the city and includes Burnaby City Hall, Shadbolt Centre for the Arts, Burnaby Village Museum, a lake with surrounding gorgeous boardwalk, small beach, and grassy meadows which are home to multiple species of flora and fauna.

Our team has been supporting the City over an eight year period in developing a wayfinding system that will support clear navigation on streets and plazas. The process from concept through to Council presentation included stakeholder consultation from building, planning, parks, culture, and other internal City groups.
In June 2021, the Plan of Development was presented to Mayor and Council and adopted as a by-law zoning change. Current work includes tender drawings and specifications for bids as well as future implementation within 2023.
