We design storytelling environments.

Lost & Found Design Owner Susan Mavor

We are Lost & Found. We design wayfinding, exhibitions, and interpretive environments. Led by Susan Mavor, a fifteen-year partner and founder of PUBLIC, we have been renamed and refreshed. Same people—same great design. With decades of collective experience, we’ve worked on projects from Lima, Peru to Juneau, Alaska. We are grateful to work in Vancouver, British Columbia, on the ancestral and unceded territories of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ. Shaping and serving the process of Reconciliation through design is central to our values and expertise. Find us.

We design informational environments for cities, historic sites, campuses, parks, museums, and more. Call it signage, immersive interpretation, or branded spaces—our work informs, celebrates, and shares cultural knowledge and supports Reconciliation. Our clients are governments, non-profits, institutions, corporations, complex multi-layered design teams, and artists.
